Rivalto lively, friendly, festive and welcoming rural community has been animated over time by events and initiatives to enhance the ancient rural traditions and other aspects of daily life such as art, culture, sport. Many of these initiatives, always supported by the inhabitants of the hamlet, have been promoted by Association Friends of Rivalto and by other local associations of the Town of Chianni. Unfortunately, today, because of the normal phenomena of modernization that have "hit" all the small national realities, something has been lost.
We like to mention here the main occasions of popular and religious traditions of the village, turned into demonstrations or rituals: the Festival of Peaches and Wine, the Chestnut Festival, the Peasant Festival (Rivalto in feast under the stars), the Literary Prize for Poetry, the Rogation, the religious celebrations.
